More painting today. They got both coats of the gray epoxy on yesterday, and then last night on the swing shift they sprayed the black antifouling.

Then today they started high pressure washing the gray superstructure, and the top of the Ballast tanks above the water line. Also I think they were welding threaded studs onto the hull to mount zincs. Some of the mounting studs either deteriorated or were knocked off with the high pressure wash There are over 30 zincs just on the hull itself.
Tomorrow is a big day. They are going to "fleet" the Boat. That means they will reflood the drydock and just barely float the boat and move it about 3 feet either forward or aft( I don't know), then raise the drydock again so that they can get to the area where the blocks were and sandblast and paint it.
Fleeting is a nautical term meaning....
Fleeting - Shifting the moving block of a tackle from one place of attachment to another place farther along to give more advantage.

I got this definition when I "googled" it!!
Somebody must have taken a little poetic license to make the transition to drydocking!
Anyway, here are some pics showing the progress made today.

P.S. You can tell I like taking that "bow on" shot. It's just so much fun to stand under the Boat and look up!!!
